PRACTICE & PROCEDURE IN COURT

When your case Number is called out by the Court Interpreter- you are expected to stand up and address the Court by stating your name,  the law Firm you are representing and whether you  are acting for the Plaintiff or the Defendant. You are also expected to introduce the opposing Counsel.

The most important thing is this-you are expected to be in Court before the Judge. In simple words you must wait for the Judge and not  to keep the Judge waiting  for you while you are talking on your stupid mobile phone outside the Court!! Who do you think you are?? The Lord Chief Justice??              VJ
