A LABOUR QUESTION

CAN THE EMPLOYER PAY IN LIEU OF ANNUAL   LEAVE  INSTEAD OF ACTUALLY GIVING THE TIME OFF WITH THE EMPLOYEES CONSENT?

Can the employer tell the employer not to go on annual leave but instead offers the equivalent maoney for it? The answer is yes but with one condition. The employee must give a written consent. This is provided for in Section 60(E) Employment Act 1955.
