S1 INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS ACT 1967

" Lock out" means --  (a) the closing of a place of employment
                                     (b) the suspension of work
                                     (c) the refusal by an employer to continue to employ any number of workmen   employed by him.

"Lock out" is the  opposite of a strike. Here in this scenario, the employer gets so fed up with the employees demands, that he just  snaps. So when the  workers turn up for work the next morning, the gates are locked in solid iron chains with bold letters of  " Made in China" engraved on it. Remember, don't demand for more money for lesser working hours, and going on sick leave or emergency leave once every 2 weeks.  Employees call it their workers constitutional & and prerogative  rights in the workplace - employers call it BULLSHIT.
