AMBIGUOUS STATEMENTS- S93 EA 1950 [56]

S93 EVIDENCE ACT 1950 [ACT 56]
EXCLUSION OF EVIDENCE TO EXPLAIN OR AMEND AMBIGUOUS DOCUMENT.

When the language used in a document is on its face ambiguous or defective, evidence may not be given of facts which would show its meaning or supply its defects.

Examples:- A person cannot sell a property by stating "Its about RM100,000"or "I sell it for RM500 or RM 600" The figures and the language used  must be clear. Further there must not be any blanks _________hoping that someone would fill it.   Remember - this can only be done at the pasar malam..VJ
