HALBURS LAWS OF ENGLAND- 2005- 50 PAGE 301
A Codicil is a later addition to a Will, making any supplemental and considered annexed to a will previously made for the purpose of adding to,varying or revoking the provisionsof that will. A Codicil is capable of having an independant exixtence, so that the revocation of a will does not necessarily have the effect of revoking the will itself.
