There are 3 modes of commencing an action in the Subordinate Courts.They are by Summons,Originating Application and Petition.Generally contentious matters must be commenced by Summons.
(In yesterdays's Moot Court at UM, I discovered that none of the graduating students had actually attended a real Court.What are you waiting for? An invitation?
Go to Court and observe the proceedings. There are many things that cannot be learnt in Classrooms.)
